Update on Studio Space Downtown:
I want to start by thanking everyone for all the support for the new space that opened downtown. We had an amazing opening weekend, inspiring events and workshops, and wonderful customers. February was such an exciting month and we as a group were looking forward to what was up next.
But, we ran into a roadblock in zoning regulations, it is a long story, and one that ends better than you think. While this is not our space, we are lined up for a new one, and should be open by April. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer, but we are moving on to bigger and better things.
I also want to say I am so excited and humbled by the support we have gotten as artists from the downtown businesses. It could have been a crippling setback, but because of Ashley's positive attitude and perseverance, things got sorted out so smoothly. Also, the encouragement and resources from places like Vegenation, PublicUs, The Arts Factory, and Teamvvork are what keeps us going. Each of them has helped us out in their own way, from hosting our workshops, pop ups, or promoting us. They are all businesses who have their hearts in the community, and I thank them for that!
